How do we collect your data?
Some data is provided to us directly by you, e.g. when you contact us via our contact form, by email, phone or WhatsApp. Other data is collected automatically when you visit our website – this applies in particular to services such as Google Analytics and the Instagram feed by Elfsight, which we only use once you have given your consent via our cookie consent tool, Cookiebot.
What do we use your data for?
We use the data you provide exclusively to process your enquiry.
What rights do you have regarding your data?
You have the right at any time to receive information free of charge about the origin, recipient and purpose of your stored personal data. You also have the right, under certain circumstances, to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data. Furthermore, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.
For this and any further questions on the subject of data protection, you are welcome to contact us at any time.

Data protection
The operators of these pages take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this privacy policy.
We would like to point out that data transmission over the internet (e.g. when communicating by email) may be subject to security vulnerabilities. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.

The responsible party is the natural or legal person who, alone or jointly with others, determines the purposes and means of processing personal data (e.g. names, email addresses, etc.).
Storage duration
Unless a more specific storage period has been stated within this privacy policy, your personal data will remain with us until the purpose for the data processing no longer applies. If you assert a legitimate request for deletion or revoke your consent to data processing, your data will be deleted, unless we have other legally permissible reasons for storing your personal data (e.g. retention periods under tax or commercial law); in the latter case, deletion will take place once these reasons cease to apply.
Right to complain to the competent supervisory authority
In the event of violations of the GDPR, data subjects have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the member state of their habitual residence, place of work or the place of the alleged violation. 3. Hosting
We host our website with the provider Vercel. The provider is Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, California 91723, USA (hereinafter "Vercel").
When you visit our website, Vercel collects various log files, including your IP address. Vercel is a cloud platform provider through which the content of our website is delivered and made available (Content Delivery Network).
Details can be found in Vercel’s privacy policy: vercel.com.
Legal basis
The use of Vercel is based on Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR. We have a legitimate interest in the most reliable, fast and secure presentation and provision of our website possible.
Data transfer to third countries (USA)
Data processing takes place partly on servers in the USA. Vercel Inc. is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. This ensures an adequate level of data protection for data transfers to the USA. In addition, the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the EU Commission are used as a safeguard.
4. Enquiry via contact form, email, phone, WhatsApp or Instagram
If you contact us via our contact form, by email, phone, WhatsApp or via our linked Instagram channel, your enquiry, including any personal data resulting from it (name, contact details, enquiry), will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of handling your request. We do not pass on this data without your consent.
The processing of this data is based on Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR, provided your enquiry relates to the fulfilment of a contract or is necessary for carrying out pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective handling of enquiries addressed to us (Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR).
Our Instagram profile is linked from this website only as an external link; there is no embedding of Instagram content and no data is transmitted to Meta simply by visiting this website. Only once you actively click the Instagram link do Meta/Instagram’s privacy terms apply.
Contact form
If you send us an enquiry via the contact form, the information you provide (name and email address, and optionally occasion, preferred date, number of guests and message) is transmitted to us by email. In addition, we send a copy of your enquiry to the email address you entered. For sending, we use our email mailbox at STRATO AG, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany. The form data is not stored on the website itself. To prevent misuse, your IP address is processed briefly (for no more than 10 minutes) in memory in order to limit the number of enquiries.
Processing is based on Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR where your enquiry relates to a contract or pre-contractual measures, and otherwise on our legitimate interest in the effective handling of enquiries and in protection against misuse (Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR). Your enquiry remains with us until the purpose of storage no longer applies, e.g. once it has been fully handled, unless statutory retention obligations apply.
We offer you the option of contacting us via the messaging service WhatsApp. For users in the European Economic Area, the provider is WhatsApp Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, D04 X2K5, Ireland ("WhatsApp"), a company of the Meta group.
The WhatsApp button on our website is merely a link to WhatsApp. No data is transmitted to WhatsApp simply by visiting this website. Only when you click the button is WhatsApp (app or WhatsApp Web) opened with a prepared greeting; a message is only transmitted once you send it there yourself.
When you message us via WhatsApp, WhatsApp processes, in addition to the content of your message, in particular your phone number, your profile name and, where applicable, your profile picture, as well as metadata such as the time of the message, device information and IP address. According to WhatsApp, messages are end-to-end encrypted, so WhatsApp cannot read their content. A transfer of data to Meta Platforms, Inc. in the USA cannot be ruled out; Meta is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Further information can be found in WhatsApp’s privacy policy: whatsapp.com/legal/privacy-policy-eea.
Your enquiry is processed on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR where it relates to a contract or pre-contractual measures, and otherwise on the basis of our legitimate interest in communicating with prospective customers via a widely used and simple channel (Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR). Using WhatsApp is voluntary – you can always reach us by email or phone instead. We delete chat histories as soon as they are no longer needed to process your enquiry and no statutory retention obligations apply.
5. Cookies and Consent Management (Cookiebot)
To obtain, manage and document your consent to cookies and services that are not technically necessary (e.g. Google Analytics, Elfsight), we use the consent management service Cookiebot by Usercentrics A/S, Havnegade 39, 1058 Copenhagen, Denmark.
When you visit the website, a cookie banner is displayed where you can consent to or reject individual categories of cookies. The corresponding services only become active after you have given your consent. Cookiebot itself stores your choice in a cookie ("CookieConsent") for 12 months, so that you are not asked again on every visit.
You can withdraw or change your consent at any time via the cookie banner, with effect for the future. The use of Cookiebot is based on our legitimate interest (Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR) in lawful and demonstrable consent management.
6. Google Analytics
If you have consented to the "Statistics" category via Cookiebot, we use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google").
Google Analytics uses cookies that enable an analysis of your use of our website, e.g. regarding origin, duration and frequency of page views. The data collected in this process – including your IP address – is transmitted to and processed on Google’s servers.
Without your consent, Google Analytics is not loaded and no data processing takes place. Processing is based exclusively on your consent under Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR and can be withdrawn at any time via the cookie banner. Data processing takes place partly on servers in the USA; Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, and the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the EU Commission are additionally used as a safeguard.
7. Instagram Feed (Elfsight)
If you have consented to the "Marketing" category via Cookiebot, we embed an Instagram feed in the gallery via the third-party provider Elfsight. The provider is Elfsight, SL, C. de la Constitució 17, AD700 Escaldes-Engordany, Andorra (hereinafter "Elfsight").
The feed displays current posts from our Instagram profile @catering.kateryna directly on our website. When the feed is loaded, a connection is established to Elfsight’s servers, during which your IP address and other technical data (e.g. browser type, operating system) may be transmitted.
Without your consent, only a static placeholder without any connection to Elfsight is shown instead. Processing is based exclusively on your consent under Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR and can be withdrawn at any time via the cookie banner. Elfsight processes personal data in Andorra; the European Commission has recognised Andorra as providing an adequate level of data protection (adequacy decision), so no additional safeguards are required. Further information can be found in Elfsight’s privacy policy.
